George Wright's Story

George was training with me to build fitness and strength for a charity bike ride in Majorca.  He also wanted to address his food intake in preparation for the event.

Having agreed to do a charity event I knew that I would have to put the miles in on the bike to complete the 3 days.  In reality there was no easy way of doing that other than just getting the miles in.

But, I also decided to get a coach to help me physically.  I knew Adam prior to him setting up the business so knew that he would be the coach to work with.  I wanted to do some work in the gym and it was the strength training, building up my core stability, and my understanding of how to eat to fuel my efforts that really helped me complete the event.  Both these aspects really complimented my miles on the bike and I felt like I was making some real progress.  The changes that I made were so significant that I knew I would definitely want to continue after the event itself.

The event was over 85 miles each day with 7500 metres of climbing in total (almost as much as Mount Everest!) but because of the work I had done in the gym and nutritionally when it came to it I was able to really enjoy the 3 days in some amazing scenery.  It felt like the hard work had been done prior to the event.

I have continued to work with Adam because I have really felt the benefits of strength training in my day to day life not just in preparation for a challenge.  I have loved training with Adam and would recommend him to anyone looking to train to complete an event or beat their PB this summer”.
